ReLax Guide
Our personal recommendations of where to go for food, wine and beautiful experiences in South Moravia.
We recommend
Places we love ourselves. From burgers to coffee and ice cream, all the way to the best wineries around Pálava.
An honest burger with quality beef, homemade buns and great sauces. An unassuming spot with excellent value.
If you're heading to Znojmo or the Podyjí National Park, be sure to stop here for lunch or dinner. One of our favourite burgers in the area.
Teracota Café right at the apartment complex for a morning espresso. Café Fara in Klentnice serves specialty coffee and homemade desserts in a beautiful former parish house.
Combine a visit to Café Fara with a walk to Dívčí hrady or the Table Mountain. Coffee and homemade cake taste even better after a hike.
A glass of Moravian wine from their own production in a pleasant setting. A few steps away, excellent soft-serve ice cream from premium blends with real fruit.
We love coming back. Adults can enjoy a glass of wine at Holánek while the kids (and often us) treat themselves to superb ice cream at Ta Naša.
Vajbar Winery with excellent frizzante and a relaxed atmosphere. Kaplička Winery offers not only wine but also a modern setting with vineyard views and a great restaurant.
Start with a light frizzante at Vajbar and then continue to Kaplička Winery for lunch or a glass of wine with a stunning view of the vineyards.
Our favourite. A family winery with a friendly atmosphere, great wines and lovely seating right under Pálava.
If you're passing through Horní Věstonice, don't miss it. Have a glass of wine, enjoy the calm atmosphere and maybe take a few bottles home. One of the friendliest wineries around.
A family winery on the slopes of Pálava with a personal touch. We recommend booking a guided tasting in advance — an unforgettable experience.
First visit Šilinek Winery, then take a walk through picturesque Pavlov and finish with coffee and dessert at Café Fara in Klentnice. One of the loveliest combinations on Pálava.
A modern winery among the vineyards with breathtaking views of the Nové Mlýny lakes and Pálava. Open-air concerts take place here in summer.
If you can, plan your visit around one of the summer concerts. Tickets sell out fast but the experience is really worth it.
Honest Czech cuisine, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. In summer you can sit in the outdoor garden.
If you're on your way back from a trip around Pálava or the wine trails, this is a great place for an easy dinner to end the day in a nice atmosphere.
The real South Moravian vibe. Several wineries and cellars where you can taste local wines and soak up the mood of a wine village.
Just stroll down the lane, stop wherever catches your eye and let yourself be surprised. That's exactly its charm.
Right by the water in Pasohlávky, just a short walk from the apartment. Moravian wines, summer drinks and light snacks with pleasant outdoor seating.
We love going here at sunset. Just a short walk along the water, a glass of good wine or an Aperol in hand — a relaxed summer evening with no need to drive.

vinarstvi-cervinka.czŽebrák viewpoint
One of the most beautiful views of Pálava, the Nové Mlýny lakes and the surrounding landscape. Worth a short stop.
Uherčice – beer stop
We recommend a stop for a well-chilled beer. Check opening hours in advance.

Finish here with a refreshing drink, coffee or excellent ice cream to round off the afternoon.
